Juan Manuel holds a Ph.D. in Accounting by the University of Valencia. Before joining Carlos III he was a lecturer (assistant professor) in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University.

Dr. Floros’ academic research appears in the in the following journals: Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Management and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. 

Chris Florakis is a Professor of Finance in the Management School of the University of Liverpool. He has previously held part-time positions at the Universities of York and Bristol.

Ester Einhorn is a professor at Tel Aviv University.

Marie Dutordoir is a Professor of Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School. She has a PhD in Applied Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven (Louvain), Belgium (2006).

George Drymiotes is a professor in the Accounting Department at TCU Neely School of Business.

Sebastian Doerr is an economist at the Bank for International Settlements, with research interests in the areas of financial intermediation and macroeconomics.

Manthos Delis is a Professor of Financial Economics at Audencia Business School and Member of the Board of Directors at the University of Ioannina.

Luca Del Viva is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Department of Financial Management and Control at ESADE.

Ralph De Haas is the Director of Research at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and a part-time Professor of Finance at KU Leuven.
